Dr Emee Marina Salleh
Dr Emee had earned her PhD. Degree (Materials Engineering) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Her doctorate research was centred on the development of biodegradable Mg-Zn based on alloy and composite as biomedical materials. She has more than 3 years of teaching experience in public universities. She is a former post-doctoral researcher at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Dr Emee is a Researcher Officer at the Mineral Research Centre, Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia. She is also holding a position as Technical Manager in Unit of Dimension Stone. Her current research interest is focused on developing precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) with the aim of commercialization in various industrial markets locally and globally.

Vishantini Tangavaloo
Vishantini Tangavaloo obtained her Chemical Engineering degree from the University Technology Of Petronas (UTP) and her MS in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from the National University Of Malaysia. Currently, she heads the product development department at Synergy Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd. Her present research interests are focused on the oil & gas industry’s renewable energy and production enhancement. In recent years, she had developed recognised commercialisation products which were awarded the Spotlight New Technology Award at the Oil & Gas Conference Asia 2020. She has also developed technical and marketable introductions on energy optimization across the industry.

Presently, she actively mentors’ others and works with research in the field of production enhancement, renewables and energy optimization. Her expertise is in the areas of research management, patent writing and market research insight.

Vishantini is also a professional technologist in the oil & gas industry recognised by the Malaysian Board Of Technologists. She hosts her own podcast, The Innovator's MinutEs @T.I.M.E. where she speaks with fellow innovators who share and pitch their ideas for commercialisation. As a seasoned design thinking practitioner and advocate, Vishantini has vast experience in conducting workshops for university students, start-ups companies and her current workplace. She actively conducts webinars in order to raise awareness of the implications and benefits of implementing design thinking methodologies for business innovation and growth.

Nicklaus Gan Zhau Hern
Nicklaus is a final year student from Multimedia University (MMU) currently pursuing his degree Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Human Resource Management. Some of his achievements in the field of business competitions include Winner of the Hult Prize On Campus MMU 2020, Top 6 Regional Finalist in the Hult Prize 2020 Kuala Lumpur Hult Prize Regional, Semifinalist in the HSBC Business Case Competition 2021. Nicklaus has also been a Maybank #Mbassador 2021 and is currently the Head of Community Outreach of Monsta Asia and Vice President of the Monsta Asia Growth Committee. He also has been active in sports based clubs, academic based clubs, events, business competitions, and emceeing in his university years.

Jun Huo Yew
Jun Huo currently is a final year student studying Environmental Science and Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is also a mentor, speaker and panelist for several events and competition invited by different university and organization. During his free time, he participated and won a lot of startups & case study competition, and actively involved in social impact, sustainability and youth empowerment work.
Finding creative solutions to problems is something he has always enjoyed. As an undergraduate, he always wanted to contribute and think of solutions to solve environmental & sustainability issues. Hence, he founded my social enterprise, Greenbox, intending to empower & motivate people in the sustainability field.
In his university year, he has worked with Sunway Group, Kaodim, Tropical Rainforest Research and Conservation Centre (TRCRC), SERUM Initiative, and Gintell Rest N Go with different roles and responsibilities, and he had gained much experience during the university years.

Shazwin Mat Taib
Dr Shazwin Mat Taib obtained her Degree from the Shiga University, Japan in 2002 under Malaysia Look East Policy Program.
She then received 5 years scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Japan under Global Environmental Leaders (GELs) Program in Hiroshima University and obtained her Master in Sc in 2008 and PhD in Development Science in 2011.
She did her internship in Institute of Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) Japan before returned to Malaysia and serve in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia at the Department of Water and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering School, Faculty of Engineering.
Currently she also hold a position as Deputy Director of UTM Campus Sustainability Office. Her research interest include resource management, sustainable consumption, circular economy and sustainability in Higher Education Institution (HEIs).
She has been awarded various international research grant with recent appointment in 2021 from Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP) to conduct a project in Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants in ASEAN countries.

David Marioni
Mr Marioni has over three decades of progressive, environmental engineering team management and consultancy experience as a registered Professional Engineer (Civil / Environmental). His expertise extends to scientific studies, auditing, planning, permitting and engineering for industrial, infrastructure, resource, agricultural and aquacultural sectors. He develops solutions to meet Regulatory and Sustainability requirements along with process objectives. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Masters in Environmental Science, is a Certified Inspector for Geosynthetic and GCL Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for the range of engineered applications and is currently completing NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate to validate his HSE training and experience. David has acted as specialist consultant supporting multi-disciplinary teams across many sectors and, has championed consultancy for sustainable engineered, profitable solutions for a range of clients. Mr Marioni is a capable leader in delivery of Environment Safety and Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA) and various environmental management plans, ENVID, Feasibility Study, Phase I, II & III Assessment and, Clean Development Mechanism projects. He has held senior engineering management roles in design, construction and project management of major municipal, industrial and resource sector infrastructure projects. He is currently completing PhD in Aquaculture (since 2017) and operates an aquaculture service company and aquaculture farm.

Tong Wei Shin
Wei Shin is a senior executive for climate change and carbon projects for a Malaysian infrastructure conglomerate, providing internal consultation from GHG inventory to decarbonization of an entire group of companies worldwide to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and assisting external clients in carbon trading (both compliance and voluntary markets) and obtaining Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Prior to this, he worked for more than 4 years as an executive engineer focusing on System Assurance (SA), RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and LCA (Life-Cycle Assessment) for public critical infrastructures such as railways, airports, medical maritime military facilities across Asia. He was also involved in carbon-related advisory work and drafting the National GHG Reporting Guideline for public listed companies during his internship prior to completing his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology.
In 2019-2021, Wei Shin spent his time in Japan and obtained a Master's degree in Sustainability from the United Nations University and two graduate diplomas from the University of Tokyo and Sophia University. During his tenure in Japan, he gained enormous exposure to topics such as global governance and the role of the UN in the global sustainability agenda, ESG across businesses, disaster preparedness, and the latest climate change trends through active participation in seminars, conferences, technical workshops, and stakeholder meetings and was appointed as a graduate teaching assistant. He also participated in various roles during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics via Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS).
He is a registered graduate technologist at the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and has a certificate from Sustainability Science Consortium (SSC).
During his free time, he likes traveling, reading, having intellectual discussions, and being actively involved in volunteering for various causes including nuclear disarmament, human rights and refugees, diversity, and inclusion via various grassroots organizations.
